Eddie Cochran is a rockabilly legend that died too young. Best known for his song Summertime Blues, Cochran’s other tunes such as Twenty Flight Rock helped propel him to icon status.
With his well-dressed, clean-cut look, and raucous songs about teenage angst and desire, Cochran found a place in the hearts of youths everywhere. Twenty Flight Rock is one such song of youthful romance that was used in a 1956 movie, The Girl Can’t Help It, and was released as a single the following year.
