As of April 15, this incredible little website will now be maintained by Shane Speal, curator of the National Cigar Box Guitar Museum (and self proclaimed King of the Cigar box Guitar).  Please be patient while I stuff these pages with more information than ever.  There will be more history, more artist profiles, more plans and even in-depth reviews of the greatest cigar box guitars built today.

In the last few years, cigarboxguitar.com has inspired hundreds of builders and thousands of instruments...all thru the passion of Ivan Sucharski.  I would personally like to thank Ivan for freely giving me this domain.  I'm humbled by his generosity and compelled to make him proud of his decision.
